What are prosthesis on implants
They are a very practical solution to compensate for the lack of teeth and are often inserted with the aid of “bridges” or real fixed implants.
How they are planned
Planning always takes place before the surgical insertion of the implants so that once they have been inserted, they are positioned in a correct position.
The first step is to go and have a digital diagnostic of how your teeth will look when the job is done.
The second step is to create a radiographic analysis of the bone mass with CBCT Scan.
The third step is to create the surgical guide to indicate the correct position of the implants.
The implants inserted can be either screwed or cemented; this last solution is preferred, as maintenance is much easier at a later time
